Babysitter / Home Alone Course

YOUTH FIRST AID TRAINING
This course provides students with an official K-12 American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR, AED, First Aid eCard which is valid for two years.
Attendance is required for both dates. Recommended for those age 10 and older.
Registration is required.
Cost for the program is $55 and all necessary materials will be provided. Limited scholarships are available.

Mindful Morning - Mini Retreat

This three-hour mini-retreat is designed for individuals of all levels of experience. Mindfulness-based exercises, meditation, and movement (stretches and gentle yoga) will be combined with discussion of the principles of mindfulness and its relevance to stress in our lives.

A holistic approach to health and wellness
- Art and creativity can help you connect to your feelings, increase your self-awareness and ability to think of new ways to problem solve and develop healthy habits and routines
- Learn how to let go of stress and improve your overall sense of well-being through a creative drawing experience
- Learn how to use simple creative exercises to create your own sense of calm
- No drawing or artistic skill required
Class will meet for two – 2 hour sessions. All supplies will be provided but you may bring any favorite markers, colored pencils or pens if you would like to.
Class is located at the MidCoast Center for Community Health and Wellness at 329 Maine St, Brunswick. Use the South Entrance (driveway signage says Community Health and Wellness) and enter through the main sliding doors under the large gold "Parkview".

A FREE comprehensive four-session program that provides guidance on the planning, preparation, and consumption of nutritious meals, fostering a pathway to a healthier lifestyle. Each session features interactive education and food demonstrations.

Summer Meditation Series
with Various Providers
Join us for one-hour of mindfulness practice outside among the beautiful pines at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview Campus. Each session consists of mindful stretching, walking in nature, meditation and discussion. Beginners are welcome!
We meet outside next to the duck pond located at the front of the building. Seating will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite outdoor chair with you. Registration required.
